An Odhana is a popular name given to dupatta. However, an Odhana may be more heavy and long than a normal dupatta. An Odhana is like a mini saree that is essentially used like a veil by women and girls. In Western Maharashtras of India, an Odhana is used to drape around the neck and over the head. This is done to veil the bare body parts of women and girls and to cover their faces as is the tradition in India.
