Sundaram Textiles started as a textile manufacturing company in 1954 at Kullurchandai, Near Virudhungar by brothers Late Mr.P.Sundaram Chettiar, Late Mr.P.Ramasamy Chettiar & Late Mr.P.Paramasivam Chettiar. Initially the company manufactured “Art Silk†Sarees. Then the company expanded his business and opened a branch at Devangar Choultry, South masi street , Madurai in the year 1965 as a textile trading company. Then they slowly started to produce the then famous “Pudu Pattu†Sarees which are made from viscose rayon. Then after some time the company started manufacturing Famous Madurai Sungadi Sarees and created a well known brand name “ Sundaram Sarees“ among the cotton saree lovers for its design and quality. Till now we are keen in developing new designs in sungadi sarees and Salwar Materials as and when depending upon the customer satisfaction.
