“Kuthampully” is one of the well known traditional hand loom weaving village in Kerala, situated at the banks of River Bharathapuzha. We belong to a special community called ‘Devanga’ migrated from Karnataka. There are around 1000 families in Kuthampully, who does this wonderful craftsmanship in weaving, especially the Kerala’s traditional Kasavu Sarees.We produce some wonderful art work in saree, settu mundu and dhotis using our expertise in weaving since last 500 years. We use cotton and jari thread combination which makes it unique from any other traditional wears.
