Swadeshi is the name by which we work. This is the place where heritage/tradition meets the latest era. The company has been in effect for over 50 years. The company has grown ever since then with affiance. The Textile industry is the second largest employment generating sector in country. It is a growing industry in India as more and more people are buying new garments and cloths. We are having activity of weaving, and finishing and trading of produced cloth. We have been selling finished cloth in domestic as well as in foreign market. Initially Swadeshi was engaged in producing India’s famous cotton dhoti as well as cotton shirting, with the quality product, swadeshi’s brand is popular in lower and middle class. Meanwhile, the new generation from villages tempted to wear trousers and shirts, the chairman and managers in our group came to a conclusion that, as the time changes and needs of the people changes too, so the company took up modernisation programme with our products and keeping the dhotis production intact, our group came forward with new fangled technology to meet the present need of the people in knitting and weaving sector of textile. To execute the same, Swadeshi group enhanced by switching over from plain power looms to sulzer and rapier looms, this was a timely needed modification in weaving so that to achieve better results in finished goods. We use quality yarn in our firm for quality weaving of the cloth. Moving on the processing of the material, the cloth that is being gained from the looms is being then processed. Many processing units to get a cost advantage skip many processes from their processing, but here with us it is made sure that, all the necessary processes are being installed and used. We have standard machineries which produce standard products for the consumers. Here we also use standard dyes for the cloth.
